Business Success With Money Back Guarantee
by: Lil Waldner
An email writer has asked recently, why there is no money back guarantee on a certain advertised website. There are a lot of online offers with a money back guarantee. Thus many people expect a money back guarantee on offered solutions.

Money Back Guarantee As Bait?

You also might have read such kind of advertisment: “Make $ 100,000 a year – guaranteed” The website of this home business solution offers to remit you the money, if you do not succeed after a year. It’s even possible that this kind of turn-key website of a home business has worked in the early days of the internet. The readers can be sure that it does not work longer in these days. Anyway this kind of offers still are advertised. The suppliers just hope that the people forget to claim their rights after a year. If you look around these websites, you even may detect some warnings in forums that the people claim in vain their money.

There are tools for search engine optimization and a lot of further make money or extra income opportunities offered with a money back guarantee. Some of them may remit some money for failures, but most of them hope for forgetful customers. The money back guarantee is rather a clever bait to boost sales than a serious consumer protection.

It is difficult to claim money back from businesses, where the ownership sits thousands of miles away. It even can happen that a letter to a physical address of an attractive home business website bounces, because nobody is there. Only a recorded voice answers telephone calls. This shows the obstacles of getting the guaranteed money back in the online business world. It is not worthwhile to acquire a solicitor to get some dozens or hundreds of Dollars back. This is the reason that people do not really insist on a promised money back guarantee.

There Is No Risk Free Business Opportunity

The reality is: There is no risk free business opportunity. The higher the yield – the higher the risk. There are promising opportunities, but they are rare and they can be found by accident after doing a lot of researches, trial and error tests.

Where Does A Money Back Guarantee Make Sense?

This article does not state that consumer protection is worthless. It is very important in our consumer society. It is, however, difficult to execute consumer rights in the weakly regulated global world wide web. It makes sense to have a warranty on goods, e.g. cars, TV sets, laundry machines etc. There is a reliable physical address of the supplier. Law and social control are very effective in this field.

Common Sense Is Needed

The best advice is to decide with common sense about a home based business or make money opportunity in the internet. Promising opportunities to earn extra money still evolve in the internet. Furthermore: Persistence and patience are important preconditions for success. How many people give up too early in frustration, because they expect to get quick rich easily?

7 Ways To Get Financing For Your Home Business
by: Dean Phillips
Thinking about starting a home business? Do you already own
a home business but need cash? Perhaps you can qualify for a
small business loan.

However, before you attempt to borrow any money, you first
have to figure out how much money you need. The easiest way
to do this is by putting together a business plan. A good
business plan is critical to your business success.

It can be a simple one page outline or it can be many pages,
but it should spell out exactly how much money is needed and
what it will be used for; your potential market and
customers and potential for growth; what makes your business
unique from others; and a rational and conservative
projection of your business's cash flow.

Your plan will also help you set business goals and define
the steps necessary to help you reach those goals. It is a
guide for you to refer to on a regular basis to help
evaluate your business progress and help keep you focused on
your priorities.

Besides, a business plan is almost always required when
applying for a bank loan. If you need assistance in writing
a business plan, your local library should have several
books on the subject. You can also try Amazon.com. In
addition, you should be able to get help on writing a
business plan from one or more of the sources listed below:

1. The Small Business Administration (SBA) offers numerous
loan programs to assist small businesses. It is important
to note, however, that the SBA is primarily a guarantor of
loans made by private and other institutions.

http://www.sba.gov

2. The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) is a
volunteer management assistance program of the SBA that
provides one-on-one counseling, workshops, and seminars.
SCORE has chapters throughout the country. Many work in
conjunction with local Chambers of Commerce. SCORE and Visa
have also joined forces to help home-based and small
business owners. Contact your SBA office, local Chamber of
Commerce, or the following websites for more information:

http://www.score.org

http://www.visa.com/smallbiz

3. Talk to your local bank. Find out what they require for a
business loan application and also if they are participants
in the SBA loan programs. Be diligent and shop around for
the best loan packages, and make sure you fully understand
the terms.

4. You may be able to borrow from insurance policies, IRAs,
401k's, stocks and securities, etc. Check with your
insurance agent. Also, investigate what the policies are
regarding borrowing from your mutual funds or retirement
account. Before borrowing, make sure you fully understand
the pay-back terms and any potential penalties.

5. Apply for a home equity loan. Borrowing against the
equity on your home is permitted in all states except Texas.
Just make sure you're diligent about paying back the loan or
you could end up losing your home.

6. If you're a woman, you may be eligible for a Specialty
Loan. These types of loans are now being offered by local
banks. Who knows? Filling out a one-page application just
might get you an unsecured credit line or loan ranging from
$2500 to $50,000.

7. Try borrowing from family members and/or relatives. If
you have a good relationship with your family, perhaps you
can make a persuasive argument for them to loan you money
for your home business. Just remember, borrowing from family
or relatives shouldn't be treated any differently than
borrowing from a bank. It's just as important to pay them
back on time as well.

Do You Want A Work At Home Job Or A Home Based Business?
by: Kirk Bannerman
Once you have decided to work at home (either by choice or
out of necessity) you are faced with the decision as to whether
to pursue a work at home job or to start a home based business.
That may sound like a minor distinction, but the differences can
be quite significant.

A general psychological characterization of the entrepreneurial
spirit says they are typically people who have a high energy
level, set long-term goals, feel quite self-confident, and view
money and financial security as a measure of accomplishment and
piece of mind.

Entrepreneurs are further characterized as problem solvers, who
take risks, learn from their failures (as well as those of
others), accept personal responsibility, seize the initiative,
and use all available resources to achieve their success.

Entrepreneurs also tend to compete with themselves and believe
that success or failure lies within their personal control or
influence. They do not see setbacks as failures, but rather just
as learning experiences. Most of all, they exhibit persistence
and tenacity, never giving up and never quitting the quest for
success.

If you fit most of these criteria, you would probably elect to
start a home business instead of undertaking a work at home job.
However, the decision to work at home does not necessarily mean
that you want to be the owner of a business. You may prefer
working at home for an already established company. This is
often easier to do than owning a business yourself and you may
not want all the headaches, responsibilities and obligations that
come with owning your own business.

Regardless of which path (job or business) you choose, the first
step is to figure out what business or work-from-home opportunity
you want to pursue. There are many excellent information sources
such as public libraries and Internet sites that list seemingly
countless home business and work at home job opportunities. The
abundance is so great that it might well lead to confusion.

One of the most important factors is often overlooked. This is
your personal inventory. Often this will yield some direction
and focus to the business or job selection process. Assess
yourself and your situation. Write a resume for yourself that
includes your background, education, training as well as any
particular on-the-job skills you possess that could possibly be
used in a venture or job. Also look at your leisure-time
activities and hobbies, because many businesses result from a
person following their "passion." Ask yourself how much time you
can realistically put into a business venture, given your present
commitments.

Once you have determined the general type of home business or
work at home job that you want to undertake, it is of critical
importance that you do your homework (research) to select the
specific opportunity where you are going to make your
"investment" (some combination of time, effort and money) in
working at home.

Can a Work at Home Business Lead to Self-Employment
by: Arthur
By © Arthur, The Online Internet Home Business Opportunity

The number of Internet users is estimated to reached THREE BILLION in 10 years time at the time of writing this articles. In
fact, thousands and thousands of NEW people around the world are coming online daily.

With such a huge world wide market, starting an Online Home Based Business is a great way to gain self-employment.

Whether your Work at Home Business will eventually lead you to Full time Self-Employment depends largely on YOU.

As James Allen has quoted:
He who would secure any worldly advantage must be willing to work vigorously for it, and he would be foolish indeed who,
waiting with folded hands, expected it to come to him for the mere asking.

If you are WILLING to work vigorously for it, you CAN and WILL be able to turn your work at home business into a Full time business.

Most people who try an online business failed because MOST online companies will just provide you with their products and
expect you to have the necessary online selling knowledge. They don't provide you with the necessary online advertising
materials or business forums to guide you how to go about it.

However, they are not wrong for behaving that way because they are in the online business to sell their products and not to
train you to become an online expert.

For those who already possess the necessary online advertising knowledge, they can simply join any online business opportunity and start selling for the companies.

However, for those who are NEW to the online selling world, it is WISE to choose an Online Business that teaches you HOW
to operate a successful work at home business and achieve self-employment.

When I first started my Online Business, I thought it was simple and easy to make online money and when I saw any business
opportunity that pays, I just joined. As you guessed, I ended up not making any money.

As James Allen, quoted, I was foolish indeed. Of course, I didn't gave up my self-employment dreams and continue to
research the various business opportunity available across the NET.

Eventually, I settled for ONE that was cater for NEW Online entrepreneur like me as I believe that a constant hammering on
ONE nail will generally drive it home at last, so that it can be clinched.

It took me a couple of years to learn the online trade (as I am also holding a Full Time job at that time) and SELF DISCIPLE
as to ensure that I spend time enough time reading and APPLYING the online marketing materials provided by the company every week WITHOUT failed.

I am quite happy with my online progress and still consider myself as a learner.

Failure is not permanent TILL you give up.

Wishing everyone success in gaining Self-Employment via your own Work At Home Business.

Create Your Own Home Business
by: Darrell Knox
A home business is by far the best way to support yourself if you just cannot stand working for others for less money than you need to survive. It’s also the best way to get out of a good paying job that just takes up too much of your precious short life working for someone else.
Let’s face it, you probably know someone who has a home business. Do they look happy to you? Do they complain as much about work and money as you do? Probably not.

This is not to say that you should quit your job and start a home business. You should start one while you still have your job. Some people complain that this is hard and takes up too much of their free time. In the beginning a home business is not profitable – you have to work at it like anything else.

Some people eventually go back to work blaming some program or home business opportunity that wasted their time and didn’t work. Unfortunately, the odds are actually that they didn’t work hard enough and stick to their dreams. Many people allow themselves to believe that there are no legitimate home businesses. It’s easier to go to work thinking this than to let themselves truly believe that a home business is possible, profitable, or liberating.

But if you truly believe there are no good home businesses, that they are all scams, then what are the thousands of people doing everyday in your hometown driving around during work hours?

You know the ones. The people you see on your day off that are driving around and standing in line in places you frequent on your days off. They can’t ALL be on their days off too! You have wondered, just like I did, what it is these people do. I know you have.

Many of them have their own home business. Many of the people you see at the post office who know the clerks by first name are shipping packages of goods they sold on auction at Ebay or their own websites.

The cars parked in the county clerk’s office in your home town. Some are employees there, but not all of them. Many of the people coming and going from that office in your town (during business hours when everyone should be working, right?) are real estate brokers, or no money down buyers and sellers looking up local property information.

Home business owners are all around you, everyday. The home business industry is quite literally booming and is getting larger exponentially by the month.

The worst thing you could ever do to yourself, that is a life-altering belief system, is let yourself believe it is all a scam or that there is no room for YOUR creativity and YOUR value as a home business owner of any kind!

Take me for instance! I own my own website and I sell information, business tools for home business people who work on the internet, and services of all kinds. I work from home. I am one of those people you see during the week driving around town while you wonder what it is I do for a living. Nice to meet you!

Being successful with your home business
by: Jim Noel
Copyright 2004 Jim Noel

How to be successful with you home based business really depends on attitude, persistence and of course what your business offers.

Let’s start with attitude. Everyone starts out with this attitude that man I am going to succeed and be able to quit my full time job by next year!

Well I am not going to say that can not happen, but let’s be realistic here. A home based business is just like any other business, the only difference is you are doing it from home.

And this kind of thinking that you will get rich over night is usually the death of your business. It is great to have a goal, but keep it within reach. To have a successful home business, the key is watching it grow from month to month.

So keeping your attitude good, and not get discouraged when you are not making $20K a month is the first key to being successful. Remember you want to grow each month, as you grow you also expand bringing in more business and revenue.

The hardest part about all that is when you first get going in your new home business. You are not known to anyone, so you have to sell your business to the public.

I can remember when I first started; one website on the internet where you can put classified ads was not producing for me. And I had seen where it was a very good website for getting business.

So after a few weeks went by, I came back to that website, and changed a few words in my ad. Bingo, what do you know, I started getting replies, and next thing I know I had people signing up under me to become affiliates.

Now if I would have quit on that site, and said shoot this website is a joke, I would not have signed up all those people who in turn signed up people and they were selling, and bringing commission to me, and to themselves.

So I learned quickly that persistence is a key to help make your business grow. I wanted to give up, but I found it in me to keep trying, and trying.

Let’s talk persistence, now this is where a lot of people die in the home business arena. They run across failures of some sort, whether it is marketing, people not following through, etc.

YOU HAVE to keep at it! Persistence is the key, if it failed once, does not mean it will fail again, you have to keep trying and trying and trying, and before you know it all that persistence will pay off for you.

Now we want to talk about what your business has to offer. We all know there are so many scams or so called businesses on the internet.

Everything from taking surveys, to getting paid to read emails, to selling Viagra! So what are the true legitimate businesses out there to start in?

Well to find that answer out, you have to a lot of research. I have an article on the internet explaining in detail on how to go about finding the legitimate home businesses, and not the scams.

You can read that article on my website. I can proudly say that I have found 2 work at home businesses that I am successfully running and making money at.

So just remember if you are wanting to start a home business, it will take some work, but the rewards are great! Persistence, attitude, and what your business offers are the keys to being successful.

A Home Based Business Means Quick, Easy Money...And Pigs Will Fly
by: Kirk Bannerman
Yup, here come those wonderful flying pigs!

Where does it ever end? I've been involved with Internet-based
home businesses for several years and I continue to be exposed to
a seemingly endless barrage of offers (all costing me money, of
course) claiming to be "the secret" for making a fantastic income,
in a very short time, and with very little effort involved.

I must admit that I may have a slightly self-serving reason for
addressing this topic. My articles are published on my
home-based business websites for the purpose of trying to give
prospective team members a true sense of what is really involved
with starting and developing a successful home based business.
The self-serving part, I suppose, is that I want people joining
my team to have the straight scoop going in so that we don't
waste each other's time. I admit to being selfish in this
regard (I don't want to waste time working with people that have
unrealistic expectations), but it is also very efficient for
both parties involved, so it is not a totally one-way thing.

Now, back to the topic at hand. There's no magic here, folks.
Once you have selected the home business that you are going to
pursue, there are no substitutes for time and effort in
developing your business. A dream of being an "overnight
success" is just that, a dream.

I can tell you from personal experience, that once you "pay your
dues" and begin to have real success with a home based business,
it is really terrific. Think about Nirvana or Valhalla, take
your pick, but in any event it's really sweet.

When I started developing a home based business, making a good
income was obviously an objective, but I also had other
sub-objectives. One of the most important things was to have
nearly total time flexibility (I mean, if I was willing to
continue to wear the 9-5 Mon-Fri collar I could just have just
stayed in the previously "traditional" work force).

Time flexibility was (and still is) a "biggie" for me. Many
people working at home have the same need for various reasons.
For work at home moms, a home business can be a real godsend to
accommodate the hectic time pressures, particularly when the kids
are quite young and mom is also spelled "transportation".

In my own particular case, the reason is not quite so noble...I
just want (need?) to be able to pick up my fly rod and go fishing
at a moments notice (sometimes I'll be gone for a week or two at
a time, but now the business has enough momentum that it keeps on
operating just as well as if I were here tending to it on a
daily basis).

Bear in mind, I am only able do the breakaway thing now that I
have put in all the up-front time and effort and now have
developed enough kinetic energy in my home-based Internet
business to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Home business happiness
by: Stephen Mistretta

Stephen Mistretta
Defining Your Happiness For Home Business Success
You might be saying now “Steve why are you writing an article on happiness? This is a Home Business Site!” The reason is that I estimate that at least 70%+ of you are making the switch to Home business due to lack of feelings of happiness and fulfillment in your life.
For this reason, it is important for you to understand what you really want to achieve from your home business.
Personally, I have been trying to define in my life what really makes me happy and how I can make money at it. What I am looking for is much more than money. I am looking for calm and a sense of peace in my life.
To find out if you are really ready to work for yourself from home? Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do you have a hobby that you would do daily for free?
This is one of the keys to success and happiness in a home business. You must have drive and passion in order to succeed. Doing something you really enjoy will help smooth out the bumps in the road. Also, doing something you really enjoy will help you to tolerate the remaining time at your ‘other’ job. Please do not choose a home business based only on your perceived earning potential. If you do, the chances are you won’t have the long-term persistence needed to succeed.

2. Is it money that you really want or is it the freedom of choice you really want?
This is a critical question because, again, if it is solely money you are looking for you will not have the enthusiasm and passion needed for long-term success. Focus on doing what you love and the money will follow. People will see your enthusiasm and it will spread to your clients.

3. Are people you work with dragging you down emotionally and spiritually?
One thing I know for sure is that I no longer want to be around negative people. Mark Twain has a great saying “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.
Everyone knows a person like the character on Saturday Night Live “Debbie Downer.” Lets face it, some people are only happy if they are complaining about something or are raining on someone else’s parade. Avoid these people at all costs, remember it is better to be alone and focused and passionate about what you are doing.

4. Do you want to start off fresh where you are in control?
Starting your own home business is like having a clean tapestry for painting. You control your destiny. You control what “colors” to use. Think big, never small, and you can do it.
Jeff and I have created our site to help you with home business questions from A-Z, please use it and sign up for our newsletter. We will be updating the site weekly with info to include:
Interviews with some of the top Internet marketers and some of the top self-improvement people on the net.

5. Do you enjoy helping others when you can?
Owning your own business provides you with an opportunity to give back to your community. This also provides an excellent Barter and Networking opportunity. Help as much as you can afford to and these good deeds will come back to help you in the future.
Have faith in the overall good in people but, at the same time, realize that some people might try to take advantage of your generosity. Use bartering in some of the situations to help lower your overall costs.

6. Do you believe in expanding your mind through research and networking?
If you enjoy research you will be well served by starting your own business. You will have to learn some Accounting basics and Marketing skills as well as some Tax basics. Network with people who can help you in these areas. Suggest bartering your services with them. This is a great grass roots way to get advertising for your home business. If you come across a dishonest person, break the relationship as quickly and tactfully as possible - they will only cause you harm and heartache.

7. Are you dedicated and disciplined?
Setting up a schedule and ‘things to do’ list will greatly help with your organizational and time management problems. You must be disciplined and stick to your schedule. Complete one task at a time and move to the next. MANY business have failed because of having to many‘ irons in the fire.’ This leads to lack of focus, which is one of the number one reasons that businesses fail.

8. Are you prepared to ignore the negative ‘nay sayers’?
Be prepared to have to ‘cull’ some of your friends, There will always be people who are jealous of your drive, passion and determination. Accept that fact and don’t let them take up any of your time. If the Nay Sayer is your spouse or another family member, sit them down and tell them how much your new business means to you and your future together. If they cannot be positive, ask them not to comment at all. Usually after family members see how hard you are working they will come around and begin to support you. Try getting them involved with smaller tasks that they can take off your plate.

9. Are you prepared to work at your other job until your Home Business takes off?
This is something that people don’t think enough about. You should be prepared to stay at your ‘other’ job for at least six months while building your home business. Many people have quit only to find the HB doesn’t provide enough immediate income so they have to crawl back to the old job, or worse find another lower-paying job. I personally made this mistake

10. Are you prepared to take an open and honest look at your behaviors?
This is something that I really had to be honest with myself about. For years I had grown a negative attitude, almost to the point that I had a chip on my shoulder. I sat down with an old friend and discussed my situation and he said “Steve your attitude stinks.” I was in shock. Upon really looking at my behavior I saw that I had created negative ‘anchors’ that were standing in the way of my success. When I looked at a job, all the negative feelings from my previous jobs flooded into me. Be conscious of what you are feeling, and be prepared to eliminate the negative and accentuate the positive. Remember, Bill Gates started in a dorm room, Michael Dell started in a garage. Do not be afraid. You CAN do it - it takes a plan, discipline, hard work and follow through.

In closing, let me say once again that you can do it. You deserve success and the happiness it brings. Franklin D. Roosevelt said “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Don’t be afraid - you deserve this success. We all do. Nelson Mandela put our ideas about self doubt and fear far better then I ever could:

“And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
— Nelson Mandella

Now get out there and kick butt. If you would like to contact me please see below.
We are always looking for positive, persistent people to partner with. If we can help you in your success we will be glad to do so.

The Benefits of Starting A Home-Based Business
by: Mal Keenan
Copyright 2004 Mal Keenan

The U.S economy continues to grow and corporations are enjoying large profits, but the majority of Americans still struggle with finances. This is one of the main reasons many people are looking into the benefits that a home-based business can offer. There is no stressful morning commute, extremely low overhead, fewer restrictions, and few or no employees. Many laws don't apply to small businesses with no employees or only a small number of employees. It has been estimated that 95% of home based businesses are successful their first year with an average income of over $50,000. The general benefits of starting a home based business are many when you consider the tax advantages, money making potential, and savings on transportation and clothing.

Small businesses, including home-based businesses, receive numerous tax advantages. They can deduct their home, spouse and children (if you employ them), business vacations, cars, and business meals. You can even set up a pension plan while operating a home-based business. In addition, any losses you incur can be tax deductible and may even be refunded by the IRS, depending on your particular circumstances. To make your home-based business a success, you need to determine the factors that make one business succeed and another identical business to fail. Taking the incorrect actions can mean a failed home based business. Wanting the benefits of a home based business but taking no action at all surely means failure as well.

The fact is, most people who start a home business do so without the proper knowledge. The need for a continued cash flow forces them to quit before they can acquire that knowledge. The best way to succeed in your home-based business venture is to benefit from the experience of others. This is much easier than trying to learn the hard way and then giving up in frustration.

Starting a home-based business is an excellent financial opportunity. The tax benefits alone can make starting a business from your home the best financial move you'll ever make. The degree of success you have in your business is directly related to the amount of pleasure you get out of the business and the amount of work you put into it.

Choose a home-based business that you enjoy, that you can comfortably finance, and a business in which there is a large market in need of your service or product. Will your business require you to invite clients to your home? Do you need extra insurance coverage to operate a business from home? Will you need an extra office or workspace to conduct your business?

What about a second phone line, fax, or Internet connection? Some research and planning done ahead of time can save you time and money after your business is established. The benefits of starting a home based business are many, but be sure you have the time and energy to devote to your business so that you'll enjoy the financial and personal freedom you are searching for.

Keep in mind that you may have expenses for bookkeeping unless you plan to keep your books yourself. Keeping accurate, up-to-date records is critical in operating a successful business. With adequate research, common sense, and a passion for your job, you can enjoy the many benefits and potential profits owning a home-based business brings.

Startup Tips For Your First Home Based Business
by: Kirk Bannerman
Over the past few years I have helped thousands of people start
their own home based businesses. Many of these folks have become
quite successful and others, for various reasons, have failed to
achieve success.

People starting out in their first home based business adventure
almost always suffer information overload in the early stages of
trying to get their business up and running. I often refer to
this as the "taking a drink from a fire hose syndrome".

For the first time home business entrepreneur there will be a
great deal of "newness" to virtually all aspects of getting their
business started. When you combine all of this "newness" along
with the natural sense of excitement and eagerness, it is easy
to understand how people can easily fall prey to the feeling
of being overwhelmed and lost.

To a degree, the confusion/frustration/overload situation
frequently encountered in the initial startup phase is often
similar to the old saying about trying to run before learning to
walk.

The steepness (is that a word?) of the learning curve depends
not only upon the particular type of business that is being
undertaken, but also upon the background and skills of the
person starting the business. In any event, when first
starting out, people will usually try to move forward too
quickly.

I caution people to come to grips with reality and to be
realistic in their expectations. Far too many folks read
advertisements that are hype and imply quick money, and lots of
it, from a home-based business start-up. It will certainly take
at least a year, and in some cases two to three years, before
you should expect to begin to truly make a significant profit
from your business.

It takes a lot of time to successfully market and promote a new
business. Starting out a new business with the expectation of
earning a full time income from a part time effort is not very
realistic and is likely to lead to disappointment.

If you are planning on starting a home-based business with the
intention of spending a great deal of time with young children
or caring for a sick or elderly family member, a full-time home
business (and income) may not be a realistic objective from a
time availability standpoint. Try to reconcile your income
expectations with the amount of time that you have available to
devote to starting your home business.

You can expect to experience periods of doubt in the early stages
of developing your business...did I pick a viable business
opportunity?...am I doing the right things to develop my
business?...when will I start making a profit?, and so on.

A person working at a home based business may also experience
occasional periods of feeling isolated...a feeling which
is probably brought on by the lack of interaction with a work
force or office environment.

Whatever type of home based business that you choose to start,
you can rest assured that there will be some bumps in the road
leading to your success. You should expect to experience the
"two steps forward and one step backward" thing and try to avoid
the ever-looming temptation to become overly discouraged when you
take one of those backward steps. It is very easy to lose sight
of the obvious fact that as long as you have more steps forward
than backward you will eventually get ahead!

An opportunity called Home Business
by: Arun Pal Singh
Copyright 2004 Arun Pal Singh

Opportunity has strange ways of presentation. While you may search heavily for it everywhere, it will stand there silently, waiting to be found. It will not knock your door or pat on your back to grab your attention.

It will stand there; appear in disguise waiting for you to recognize it and lift the veil from its face. It demands action from you, yet it won’t give the slightest hint of its existence. Why?

A man who seeks opportunity will eventually find one. When, how and where entirely depends on the sharpness of the seeker. Opportunities are already there. If we are not conscious, we don’t see one. Only when we start becoming conscious , we start finding one.

Recently a friend of mine critically asked me “If home business on the net can bring so much wealth and freedom to oneself how come everybody is not sitting at home and earning”.

He was trying to negate that money can be earned by online business. I tried to explain him about online earning but he was not ready to accept the reason.

“I think that is wastage of time.” He completely rejected me.

He was not conscious of the fact and he could not be subjected to reason.

Well! Then home business is not for him.

First step to find an opportunity is to believe that it exists. One must accept that it is there. Then one must become conscious of home business’ money earning potential.

When you become conscious of something you start noticing that in abundance. If you are not conscious of something you can’t see that even surrounding are full of it.

That is law of nature.

Nature has designed things in this fashion to avoid the revelation to the unprepared and thus unworthy.

The opportunity can only be used by able. One who can recognize the opportunity and acts to tap it is an able man. Other kinds either will not find the chance or let it pass without utilization.

Home business on the net has produced millionaires. Countless people started with limited resources and now earn unlimited wealth. What did they do?

They recognized an opportunity and took action. They had eyes for the opportunity and audacity for taking an action. That is what makes them stand apart in addition to the wealth they have made.

They were able.

Taking an action is second step for tapping the opportunity. Action taking is must if you want to get yields from opportunity. Otherwise the opportunity is as good as no opportunity.

Opportunity for home based business would always remain. With internet expanding at such a fast pace, potential of home business is much more than ever.

But only those seek with conviction and vision would find one.

Moreover, only those who are courageous enough to take action would find their way to enormous wealth.

People who lack conviction, courage or both will not find any wealth in the home business or for that matter anything.

5 Tips for better management of home business
by: Arun Pal Singh
Copyright 2004 Arun Pal Singh

Home business on the net offers an opportunity to earn a lot of money. But like any other business it demands a constant input.

A better execution of efforts would bring better results.

Inculcating a professional approach and attitude would take you to the success at a real pace.

1.Be your real boss:

Being your own boss is very lucrative but the responsibility of making it success is also with you.

The very boss in your regular job (who is hated more than often) does a lot of work for you. Be it disciplining or producing the necessary motivation for the required results.

This is your business now. You are your own boss. Nobody else will share the responsibility (for that matter credit of success will also be yours only). So be a boss really.

Don’t fall into leisure trap otherwise time will fly and you will find yourself without any progress.

When you are in business, business is the top priority. You are at home for work and not for relaxation.

It is not just home anymore. It is your office too.

2.Grasp your business, Stay put:

Be clear in what you are doing and why are you doing. Grasp the concepts of tools you need to use.

Understand where you are in your business.

Growth of a business is exponential. That implies that in early part the curve is almost flat before it rises steeply. Don’t let that flat part discourage you.

Keep working, the bang will be there.

Stay put. Success will come.

3.Organize your business:

Set your goals. Accomplish your daily list of work. A small step everyday would take you to the destination.

Contrary to the perception home business requires efforts. And more so in the early phase.

Yes, the success is sooner on the net but it is not instant.

Schedule your work. Better if you can make a time table. It helps to maintain discipline.

Find you peak efficiency hours. It could be early morning or late night. Devote with full concentration.

4.Keep yourself motivated:

Encourage yourself regularly (remember your boss who used to do this!).

Read motivational books. Get inspired. Think positively. Keep the fire inside you burning.

It is a good idea to learn the success stories of people who have made it. A good source is IAHBE . It offers you numerous success stories of people who started like us. One gets a great inspirational boost.

5.Maintain a good health:

Last but not the least keep a good mind and body.

As you work from home you don’t have privilege of interaction with your colleagues as in regular job.It gets boring sometimes.

Join a health club. Shape yourself up. It will increase you efficiency too. Take breaks frequently. Enjoy your hobbies.Entertain yourself.

Finally, this is your baby. You can groom it in any way you want.

Some time later you can be a proud father.

That will be the time when you will look back, smile and pronounce
‘I did it’.

Till then keep working.Wish you success.

3 Steps To Home Business Success
by: Dean Phillips
If you own a home business, there are 3 things you
absolutely, positively must have, if you want to be
successful:

1. You must have a guru or mentor:

If you aren't proficient in Internet marketing, website
design and copywiting--and most people aren't, do the smart
thing and seek out an Internet marketing expert to help you.
This can be a huge financial advantage for you, because 90
percent of those individuals coming online don't have a clue
what their doing. And instead of doing the smart thing and
seeking out an expert for help, they'll just struggle along
trying this and that and losing money, until they're finally
forced out of business.

2. You must have a back-up plan:

Not having a back-up plan for your home business is like
being stuck out in the desert with a flat tire and no spare.
You just aren't going anywhere. Sometimes, try as hard as we
might, our ideas just don't work and we have to scrap them.
That's why you should always have a back-up plan. Give your
home business every chance to succeed, but if you sense it's
not going to happen, don't be afraid to pull the plug on it
and move on to plan "B."

3. You must have relentless desire and determination:

This is the number one reason why most people don't
succeeed. They don't have relentless desire and
determination. I want you to commit the following words to
memory:

"Any success you achieve will be in direct proportion to
your desire and determination. The more desire and
determination you have, the greater will be your success!"

Here's another example to illustrate my point:

Most people think it's Kobe Bryant's amazing talent that
sets him apart from the other players in the NBA. And make
no mistake, his talent does play a significant role in his
success. But what really makes Kobe Bryant special is
his "relentless desire and determination." He just wants to
win more than everybody else.

That's the mindset you have to have. You have to want to
succeed with your home business more than anything else in
the world--anything!

And remember these words:

"Any success you achieve will be in direct proportion to
your desire and determination. The more desire and
determination you have, the greater will be your success!"

6 Secret Signs of an Easy Home Business
by: Jack Sinclair
If you take a look around the Internet, you'll find hundreds of thousands of people who are looking for an easy home business. But what exactly does EASY mean? The answer depends on who is answering the question!

In this article, I'm going to show you six things that easy home businesses have in common - things you should look for when starting a low effort easy home business. Picking a business with these features will greatly increase your chance of success in your business ventures.

Here are the six things to look for in an easy home business:

1. A Well-Established Company With A Great Track Record

It's no secret that most so-called easy home businesses fail. There are a thousand reasons why, and it would take a business degree to really understand it all, but one thing that easy home businesses share is a great track record.

If a company is able to survive and thrive for 4 years, it means they have everything in place to run the business - and that means you can join up and hit the ground running.

2. Popular Products

This ties closely with Item 1 - an easy home business must have products that people want! It sounds simple, but many "fast cash" businesses you see being marketed on the Internet have products that you would NEVER buy in a thousand years. Yet they expect you to sell them!

By choosing an easy home business that has products that are easy to sell, it makes everything easier. You don't need to twist arms, or deal with a high percentage of product returns. Everthing goes smoothly when people are calling YOU to order!

3. No Large Up-Front Costs

This might sound surprising, but CASH is in short supply when you start any easy home business. That's right - every easy home business has this problem. It's important to know that the cost of getting into a business is not your only cost - there are marketing costs to consider, for instance. How will you attract new customers and new sales? You'll need to have business cards, a telephone (try not to use your home phone, just in case your business skyrockets or, Lord fordbid, goes bankrupt), and other expenses. You may need to attend teleconferences, or travel to events, and these costs should be considered BEFORE you jump in to any easy home business with both feet.

4 No Inventory to Maintain

We've all seen the easy home business opportunity that lets you get in on their hot opportunity - if you'll fill your garage with products. Those days are gone!

In today's environment, easy home businesses do all the product handling for you - they will produce it, package it, ship it, and even bill the customer on your behalf. Your only requirement is to tell them where to send your earnings!

Be sure that the easy home business you choose has no inventory requirements.

5. An Easy Way to Attract New Customers

A great easy home business is one that has customers coming to YOU. This is achieved by having a system in place that lets customers find you.

6. A Great Marketing System

The best easy home businesses come with a fine-tuned marketing system that you can use. This is a system that you can plug into with minimal effort, and see results in a very short timeframe. Things like replicated websites, co-op advertising, and low cost marketing kits are things that indicate a great marketing engine is in place. You'll need these tools if you are going to attract potential customers quickly.

Summary

If you spend some time looking at easy home businesses, you'll find some that have the six features in this arcticle. Choosing a business with these features is the best way to maximize your chances of success, and gives you a greater likelihood of seeing positive cashflow in a relatively short timeframe. There's no guarantees, but this checklist will really improve your odds of success!

Are You Still Looking For A Job?
by: Janice Sharman
Most people I know are unhappy with their jobs. The alarm clock becomes the enemy at 6:00 o’clock on a Monday morning as its shrill cry signals the end of an all too short weekend mini-break. But, spurred on by the thought of a paycheck guaranteed to be there whether the mind accompanies the body to work that day or not, they make the noble sacrifice and head out into the big, brave job world.

Statistics show that Home-based businesses are the hottest and fastest growing segment of the American economy. By the end of 2008 it is predicted that as many as 75% of the working population will be working from their homes.

Most people would love to have a work from home job - one where they can stay at home and work for someone else just like they do in the office.

Have you looked around the Internet at the "work from home jobs"? They are mainly for the highly specialized professions - programmers, medical and legal transcriptionists, graphic designers and for project specialists in fields such as technology research. I don't know about you but my expertise in these fields is almost zero and I am sure that is true for the majority of the population of planet earth.

To my mind these highly specialized jobs not only appeals to a very tiny segment of the home-job-seeking population, they also do not offer much flexibility. You don't get to pick your clients, your co-workers, or your hours on the job. In effect you become a telecommuter with a supervisor who wants to dictate your every move just to make sure you are really working. What is worse is that telecommuters are still subject to the company's employment policies and procedures and are definitely not in control of their working environment.

Most people who want a home-based business are not willing to exercise the discipline it would take to start earning the thousands of dollars the gurus and top Home Business marketers claim can be made so easily. They are content with making just enough to pay the bills and have a stress-free work environment.

The pros of a successful Home-based Business far outweigh the cons. A Home Business can be anything you want it to be – A messenger service, a hairdressing salon, affiliate marketing, an Internet franchise, a bookstore, etc. The world is your oyster, and if your business is an online one, you can create the business you really want. Just think, you could be leaping out of bed each morning excited and ready to begin work instead of prying yourself out of bed dreading the thought of returning for even one more day to a job you hate and a boss you despise.

The corporate world has become increasingly unpredictable . I have relatives and friends who have changed jobs numerous times in the last 5-7 years. You would think these are entry level earners but most of them have MA's, PHD's and advanced university degrees. Twenty years ago, one could bank on having just 2-3 jobs in their lifetime, the average is now between 8-16.

The corporate world is changing rapidly. Companies are downsizing or relocating to countries that have cheaper labor costs. This trend is set to continue. Even if you possess those rare skills I mentioned earlier, you still won't be in full control of your job situation until you have your own home business.

With your own home business you are in the driver's seat; you are the boss! You set the goals and you decide the fate of your company. You will never get laid off because the company you work for is relocating or downsizing.

The best part is, that when you own your own home business, you get to have leisure time and vacations whenever you want. You call the shots because you are in control of your destiny! And, even though you may have heard it many times before, owning your own business is, without a doubt, your surest pathway to accumulating true wealth.

Still looking for a JOB? Whether it is an office job or you are telecommuting - it is still a "JOB". Someone else is still putting a cap on what your lifetime earnings would be worth. It’s time to lift the ceiling. Start thinking seriously about setting up and growing your own home business. You will find a satisfaction deep inside that you never knew your work could provide, and the Monday Morning Blues will be a thing of the past.
